Yeah, the only downside to the game that I can even see so far is that the pvp is going to be zergy. There are only a few aoe cc spells in the game and they require DP's which you can only gain from either killing LOTS of monsters or a few people.

Once you have these said DP's you spend them and they're gone, sorc's get an aoe 10to20 second aoe mez with their DP's at like level 40. So, there is a chance that you can land an aoe mez on a zerg but it's not going to be like in daoc where we could extend and cc and get control of a massive zerg and then just farm them.

Although thankfully this game seems to understand some things about zerging. There are no powerful aoe's in the game, at all, sorc's get a blizzard type spell but it doesn't hit hard at all it's more of a dot than a massive nuke. So, damage will have to be channeled from member to member which actually gives healers a chance to compete with it.

Much like warhammer the zerging is going to require some coordination, the group with the best effort will win simply because they play it well. So, this may add a totally new dynamic to zerging that makes it competitive and fun for everyone.

There are also keeps that seem to be well done as well, not to mention there is a 3rd realm in the game which is played by the AI. They aren't like normal AI they're extremely coordinated and can be a pain to fight much like other players.

So, this game is going to require skill and coordination even in a large environment and it's about time.

However, if there is some unforeseeable massive side effect of zerging that makes it completely no fun the pve is actually well done. It reminds me a lot of EQ1 where you go to an area, clear it and complete a few quests and during a course of a few hours you've made a lot of progress but it's not the same old boring solo questing 1 after another for 80 levels like in all the other level based mmo's out there.

There's a very indepth item upgrade system very similar to all the oriental games where you can basically break down your old gear and enchant your new gear with gems that make it stronger. What is REALLY kewl about this system is that the crafted armor in the game is as good or somewhat better than the pvp gifted armor.

Just like in wow once you aquire a suit of armor you can't lose it and it doesn't decay. However, if you want to be able to get it enchanted you're going to have to buy several sets to increase the one you wants power. However, the higher you try to enchant it the higher chance it has of snapping.

This is going to cause the game to have an actually functioning economy with some price stability and employment. People who work as crafters will actually have consistent buyers, so much so that it could be an entire way of playing the game.

So, in summary the game is going to be zergy which could ultimately be devastating. However, there is an arena system from 1v1-6v6 and there will probably be competitive gvg fights in these. There is also a rift system that allows you transport to the enemies hunting grounds around your level. So, you could manage some small scale fights there as well.

There's a solid and consistent crafting system that will yield a great economy.

The environment and game play is unique and the pve isn't a boring grind to the top. The entire game is team based and starting around level 18 you're going to need a group.

Did I mention the kewlest part!? FLYING!!!! You can fly in this game and believe me as soon as you hit 10 and get your wings you'll know why this is so fun. Just watch a few youtube videos and you can see for yourself how amazing it is just to be able to glide around.

Well, that's my 2 cents of the game.
